"Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" (Ephesians 6:13).

It’s essential for every Christian to be spiritually sensitive enough to detect and decisively deal with the enemy whenever he shows up on the scene. Contrary to what many believe, Satan isn’t sitting in one place with folded arms (Job 2:2). Peter describes him as roaming about like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour, and thus urged us to “Be sober, be vigilant…” (1 Peter 5:8).

The reason the devil is able to plunder some lives, families or businesses is that they’ve not used the Word to take charge of the circumstances of their lives. Remember, the Christian who’s not a doer of God’s Word will suffer the same fate as the rest of the world (Psalm 119:67).

Maybe last year didn’t turn out as you wanted it. Well, it’s another year and you can make changes with God’s Word and live in perpetual victory. It doesn’t matter what your family has been like, if you wake up in your spirit and begin to declare God’s Word about the situation, things will turn out for the better.

If you’ve been facing financial difficulty or sickness, call your household together and begin to declare, “We refuse to lack in this home. We refuse to walk in want or sickness.” Learn to declare faith-filled words. Stop confessing what you’re going through. You may have a growth in your body that has defied medical solutions. You’re going to talk to that growth right now. You say, “Growth, leave my body now in the Name of Jesus! Greater is He that is in me.” The cancer or tumor will surely die. Hallelujah!

Choose your words carefully, for those in the family of God don’t talk carelessly. Talk like Paul, who said, “I can do all things through Christ that energizes me,” or Peter, who said, “We are participators in the divine nature,” and John, who said, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.” Talk like someone who has discovered the secret of the new creation.

*Question about the rapture... Eschatology*

The rapture taking place before or after the great tribulation. There are three schools of thoughts... The period between the rapture of the church and the rapture is Daniels 69 week and 70th week. The church age has to end first. It deals with the church, and then returns to deal with Isreal. The rapture will happen at the beginning of the 7 years period... The church would have been taken away. Other raptures will take place, etc. Read Daniel Chapter 9. God lives in eternity but deals with time. Study the bible, all these information are there.

The mark of the beast will not be planted on believers. The church would have gone. Others will believe during the tribulation. The will no receive the mark and will be persecuted. The will reject the mark and will be persecuted and persecuted. We are working hard now to rapture with the church.

*_Question about false prophet and the prophet of God..._*

A prophet of God draws people to God and His word and the things he says comes to pass. A true prophet may make mistakes. He doesn't draw people to himself or other gods... Not paying attention to the Holy Spirit can cause a prophet to make mistakes. Working in love is another way to know. Consistency is also important. There are false brethren, prophets and teachers... Faltering on the word of God consistently is another sign... The use of material medium is another... There are true pastors that have been deceived into using material medium. Some of these ministers maybe from background where these things are used. If you listen to the word of God and study the scriptures, you'll not be deceived.

*_Question about the new heaven and the new earth..._*

The reason is that the present earth is corrupted. The day of the lord will come like a thief... Seeing then that all these things will be dissolved... The new heaven and earth will be established in righteousness. We will ever be with the Lord in the new heaven and the new earth. It will be populated by the people... Princes and priests and Jesus will be with us...

*_Question about heaven and earth will pass away... How can that happen when God lives in heaven._*

The heaven here is not where God lives ... 2 Corinthians 8. The atmospheric and planetary heavens will pass away. The new heaven have to do with these heavens that will be dissolved. They are the heavens of the earth. The next earth will have its own heaven.

*_Question about a born again not deserving deliverance..._*

Colossians 1:1-

Delivered us from the power of darkness. Every believer is delivered already. A believer cannot be possessed but oppressed by the devil. It's about what we think, rather than what we know. A Christian should not be sick, based on ignorance or misuse of the body. If you know the truth, you've got to do something based on the truth. Don't let the demons come into you. Don't let them. They can't force their ways into a Christian. All you need to do is to use your words to cast them out. Ignorance... Why die like mere men? Painful story. If you know the word, you'll cast these devils out. It's not a special gift or authority to cast out demons. Every Christian has that power of attorney to cast them out, believe your own words. We all have been given the name of Jesus to use to cast out Devils. Use it. Ephesians 4:27. Ignorance is the bases.

There are other manifestations like anger, malice, bitterness, envy, strives, you are giving room to the devil when you allow these manifestations of the flesh. Don't let the devil have any place in your life...

*_Question about did God create evil?_*

God is light and in Him, there are no darkness. God didn't create evil. There's consistency in God. The Lord doesn't give and take like Job did. All good and perfect gifts comes from the Lord. They had limited revelation in the old testament. God doesn't have and cannot come from God. Mathew 19 where they asked Jesus a question about marriage and divorce... Verse 7, why did Moses say that a certificate of divorce and put her away... Moses because of the hardness of your heart caused it to be so... It wasn't the original plan of God.

In the beginning, everything God created was good and very good. Nothing evil. Yes, because of the hardness of your hearts, the prophets of old wrote, holding God responsible for both good and evil. Amazing. What Jesus said about His Father is consistent. There's no evil with God. It was Satan the devil. He used to be lucifer, the anointed cherub. But he made the wrong choice and evil came into the world. Satan choose to exalt himself above the Most High. Study the scriptures in context. Don't isolate them. These are what the word actually says...

*_Question about living together before marriage..._*

With two kids, where are you moving? Throw these kids out? Encourage her. Go with her to your pastor. Introduce yourself to the pastor and he will tell you the proper thing to do and live properly. She hasn't said that she wouldn't want to be a believer. Don't make a personal judgement. See your pastor...

*_Question about allowing your kids to live with your carnal mother who's a Christian._*

The kids will pick up carnality and negativity if they are in this atmosphere. Don't deny your parents the joy of their grandchildren. Wash them with the scriptures when they come back. You'll become a grand parent yourself very soon.

*THE 5 SOLID FACTS OF THE  GOSPEL*
1. *The new birth and Eternal Life*

It's a fact John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It's a decree.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

You are born of the word

1 Peter 1:23 (KJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The greatest miracles are performed with words. You must understand the importance of words.

1 John 5:11-13 (KJV) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Understand this life and train people in living it. You have to learn it. All things are under your control. The only things you have no control over are other people's lives.
You have to believe the Word.

2. *THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD*.

You know what is righteousness by looking at God. Righteousness is the unveiling of the father's love. It is divinity manifested in humanity. It's the rightness of God. Walking in the light of his word. You know him, he knows you. Ephesians 5:25

Pastor teaches how to get rid of the devil from your body! Don't stop talking. Talk some more! Of it doesn't work, you didn't talk enough. Remember, you can sink in his presence. Many Christians have sunk in the presence of Jesus.

Healing is for babies. It is the children's bread. There is a natural process for the restoration of the body. Divine healing is for the babies. Until you know who you are it will be theory. It has to be taught. Children of God have to learn it. You have to consume the word of God.

Righteousness is a fact. 2 Corinthians 5:21 - I am the outworking of God's righteousness. When I come into a matter, I bring forth the righteousness of God. I know who I am. I all the unveiling of God's glory.

What do you use the Word for? I have to respond to God. Example of Samuel. Sometimes God talks to you with the voice of the minister you know. The voice is a human. Eli had to teach Samuel to respond. Your response is where the blessing is.

3. *THE DOMINION OF CHRIST*.
He reigns in me. He has dominion. Satan is nor moved by you casting or demons. He just changes his approach. There are more demons than humans on earth.

The dominion of Christ is a fact. We have dominion over all things. Philippians 2:5  The church has to learn to use the name of Jesus. They have to.

He is real. He is a loving God.

4. *THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE SPIRIT.*
Relate to him like a person. Talk to him like a person. He is more than a power.
You have to talk to him all the time. Always be in communion him. You will never miss your way. You will never be on darkness about anything.
Follow the Holy Ghost as he knows. Speak in tomgues.

Speak in tongues frequently. You will never have a dryness in your life.  The purpose of prayer is not to ask for things.
You will never see wealth like what the church is about to have. Stop asking for what you already have. Live in super-abundance. God's children have to live advice the world limits.

There is no lack for us. That's why we gonna shake this world. The world doesn't know it. But we will tell them.
There is a time many of you need to pray to cause a change. Then the more you know the less people you need. Then you come to a place where you some can get the work done.

5. *ASCENSSION OF CHRIST AND PROMISE OF HIS RETURN*

Acts 1:8-9 as a Christian you must believe in the resurrection of Christ. If you don't believe, you are not a Christian. Christianity stated at the resurrection not in the cross.

The siblings of Jesus did not believe he was from above. They heard he resurrected. Remember one day, the last service will be preached . The last singer would have come in.

*_We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13)._*

God wants us to believe and live His Word. He wants us to use the Word, to take His Word and speak it. He didn’t only give us His Word to quote, memorize or recite; He gave us His Word so we can respond to it accordingly. You have to agree with the Word, and speak it forth; that’s what produces result.

Consider the glorious words of the Psalmist penned for us in Psalm 23:1-4: *_“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”_* Here, we find David affirming God’s Word, making his personal faith-proclamations on the basis of God’s Word.

There’s no need griping over lack, your seeming inabilities, or lack of strength; there’s no need to be afraid or intimidated by the oppositions you face! There’s no need to faint or lose heart over anything! Affirm the Word. Take the Word of God and speak it! Declare, “I’m being led in the paths of righteousness. I’m walking in the glory of God and fulfilling my destiny of greatness in Him!”

Don’t say, “Lord, deliver me from evil”; rather, like David, say, “I fear no evil!” That means no matter the evil or adversities, you’re triumphant over them, because greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the world (I John 4:4). Christ is in you (Colossians 1:27); and that means glory, fulfillment, joy, progress, and transcendental blessings in your life.

But you see, it’s not going to happen just because you’re a Christian; you must affirm it. When life looks like there’s darkness, and things look bleak, don’t despair; take the Word and speak it. Declare, “Christ is in me; therefore, I’ll only and always be triumphant!” Whatever God says to you is for your benefit, and requires the right response. So, respond by affirming what He’s already said concerning you in His Word.
   
                 *CONFESSION*

The Word of God in my mouth is God talking! As I take and speak the Word, my life is impacted and transformed into what the Word says, making me a living and walking epistle of Christ. Men see and take note of me that Christ is in me; as He is, so am I in this world. Hallelujah!

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SESSION WITH REV. (DR.) CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Question  – Kofi (Ghana): Dear Pastor, what will make a Christian not to go to heaven? Also, what will make a Christian’s name to be blotted out of the book of life?

Answer: Yes, Revelation 3 verse 5 talks about God not blotting out the names of those who overcome from the book of life. He will not blot out their names from the book of life, if they overcome. Now, in Revelation 20: 15: “whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast in the lake of fire.” So, the bible talks about the possibility of someone’s name being blotted out, being erased, from the book of life. Now you are asking, “What will make a Christian not to go to heaven?” Nothing can make a Christian not to go to heaven, but a Christian should live a Christian life. If a Christian is not living a Christian life, then how can he go to heaven? That will be the problem. Jesus said, “Watch and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come upon the world.” [Luke 21: 36] So, if you want to go to heaven, then live the heavenly life. There is a heavenly life given to us; you are going to have to live that heavenly life here on the earth through the power of the Holy Spirit and through the light of the word of God that’s given to us.

And then, as for blotting out of one’s name from the book of life, we call it apostasy. That means a complete turning away from the truth – a complete fall - when someone rejects the truth of God, when someone completely turns away from the Word of God, turns away from Jesus, rejects Jesus out rightly. That’s the only thing that can have his name blotted out, because he has turned away. The bible says, if someone does that, it is impossible to renew him again to repentance [Hebrews 6:4-6]. So, that’s the only way, but if a Christian has not done that and does not do that, his name will never be blotted out of the book of life.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

FRIDAY, 20TH JANUARY.

EVERYTHING HAS INTELLIGENCE.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God (Romans 8:19-21).

When you look around you, the materials formed and fabricated from natural elements are doing nothing, except what we have fabricated them to do. However, they can do much more; they can even hear you, because everything in life has intelligence.

Consider Moses, in Numbers 20:8. God said to him, “Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.”

The first time, the people were thirsty for water, God told Moses to take his rod in his hand, and in the sight of the elders of the people, strike the rock and it’d bring forth water. He did as the Lord commanded and water came forth. See Exodus 17:5-6. This time however, God told Moses to talk to the rock. Now, the point to note here is the fact that the rock had intelligence. God expected Moses to talk to it.

In Mark 11, the Bible tells us that Jesus spoke to a tree. He was hungry, and upon seeing a fig tree, He expected to find some fruits on it, but didn’t find any. The Bible says, “And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it” (Mark 11:14). First, notice that it says, “Jesus answered and said unto it (the tree)”; Jesus spoke to the tree. Secondly, His disciples heard him talk to the tree. By the next morning, the tree had died from its roots (Mark 11:21).

So you see, everything in life, living and non-living things, all have intelligence. The Bible says all creation is waiting, groaning in pains, for the manifestation of the sons of God. The whole creation has been subject to bondage, and travails to come into the liberty of the children of God. We’re the ones to set them at liberty. We’re the hope and light of the world. So, keep speaking life and blessings to your environment, to everything around you. Glory to God!

CONFESSION
I’m a king and a priest unto God; therefore, the words of my mouth are spirit and they’re life! I give life to everything around me! Everything in my world, whether living or non-living, is constantly charged with life and vitality! Praise God!
